01Bring your store finds
In the Unit Price Buddy extension, click Open full comparison. Your captured results open in this larger workspace with no retyping.
To move a comparison to the website or another browser, use Download comparison in the extension, then Import finds here. Edits and delivery confirmations travel with it.
The extension is currently a local pilot, not a published Chrome Web Store download.
02Count the whole package
Two boxes with 12 cans each contain 24 cans. Divide the package price by 24, not 12. When a listing is unclear, confirm the total count before trusting the comparison.
For different-sized cans, switch to fluid ounces or liters. Weight ounces and fluid ounces measure different things.
03Delivery can change the winner
A $12 pack of 12 with $6 delivery costs $1.50 per item. A $15 pack with free delivery costs $1.25.
Missing delivery fees stay unknown. Free delivery that requires Prime or a minimum spend needs your confirmation. Check the final price at checkout.
04Bulk is a trade-off
A 12-pack for $9 is 75¢ each. A 24-pack for $16.80 is 70¢ each. If you only need 12, the smaller pack costs less today.
The quantity planner shows whole packs, upfront cost and leftovers. Consider storage, shelf life and whether you will use the extra items.
05Coupons are conditional
Apply a discount only after checking eligibility, quantity and subscription requirements. A coupon may work once per order. A repeating discount must be marked explicitly.
Tax is an optional estimate. Deposits, membership fees and checkout changes are not discovered automatically.
06Build your own price memory
Save an item, set a target per unit, and add an observation when you check it again. The notebook shows dated prices you recorded and whether the latest confirmed price meets your target.
This is your saved record, not a complete historical chart or an automatic price-drop alert. Stock and available quantities are not checked. Open the store listing to check availability, then capture again for fresh comparison data.
